We operate and make every effort to ensure that a working environment exists where all employees are treated with courtesy, dignity and respect, irrespective of gender, race, colour or sexual orientation.
All efforts are geared to eliminating all bias and unlawful discrimination in relation to job applicants, employees, our business partners and members of the public. This objective is achieved by undertaking continuous training throughout the group to raise awareness and explain to our people what standards of behaviour FastKlean expects.
Equal Opportunity and Diversity
We make every effort to provide a working environment where all employees are treated with courtesy, dignity and respect irrespective of gender, race, colour or sexual orientation.
All our senior managers and supervisors are trained in the importance of diversity and equality.
We have a strict Equal opportunities and Recruitment policy and development programmes in place for our people; every new FastKlean employee has an element of their induction devoted to understanding what behaviour FastKlean expects from its people and the need to be mindful of varying beliefs and cultures.
Further development modules are available for Supervisors and Managers covered as part of the personal development review process which takes place for all our operatives twice a year.
Sustainable Development and the Environment
Reflecting the growing understanding of sustainability in our industry, the FastKlean management team has broadened its scope and responsibilities.
By recognising that whilst we had an environmental policy and a suite of employment and social policies, the full sustainability impacts of an installation to Maintenance Company were much broader, and therefore we must undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility that encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
Using the Government’s four key objectives for sustainable development as a guideline we have been able to understand our wider impacts, both positive and negative, on the environment and society.
From these foundations we have developed our sustainability policy to bring together the vision, values and objectives of FastKlean’s business under the guiding principle of ‘sustainable solutions for the way we live’
As an organisation FastKlean is committed to delivering sustainable solutions throughout our business delivering to our Clients such initiatives as
As a company we set quantifiable objectives and targets within these initiatives that provide sustainable indicators to track and report our progress.
FastKlean is committed to minimising the environmental impacts of its operations, to improving the built environment and to achieving first class performance in environmental management.
FastKlean recognises that meeting these goals will require the active involvement of all Supply Chain participants including customers, suppliers and sub-contractors.
FastKlean will achieve best practice performance in environmentally aware Supply Chain Management by:
