ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

POLICY STATEMENT

FastKlean Ltd is committed to minimising the environmental impacts of our business operations.

To achieve this commitment, we will:

• Measure our use of energy and water and reduce this by 10% by 2017.
• Reduce the amount of waste by introducing a recycling system for paper, bottles and cans by 2017.
• Reduce the amount of waste by printing double sided.
• Encourage employees to use public transport and share cars wherever possible.
• Use energy efficient equipment.
• Powering down all PCs at the end of the day.
• Use our buying power wherever practicable by buying local, fair-trade, recycled and products from sustainable sources.
• Strive to continuously improve our environmental performance and integrate recognised applicable best practice into our business operations.
• Reduce our consumption of resources and improve efficiency in the use of these resources.
• Manage waste generated from our business operations according to the principles of reduction, reuse and recycling.
  
• Manage our business operations to prevent pollution.
  
• Ensure environmental criteria are taken into account in the procurement of goods and services.
  
• Comply with all relevant environmental legislation as well as other environmental requirements.

To secure these objectives, we will:

• Regularly review our environmental policy and performance, and allocate resources for their effective direction and implementation.
• Set and monitor key objectives and targets of our environmental performance at least annually.
• Communicate internally and externally our environmental policy and performance on an annual basis, and encourage feedback.
  
• Communicate the importance of environmental issues to our personnel.
  
• Work together with our customers and suppliers to encourage commitment towards improved environmental performance.
  
• Encourage appropriate consideration of environmental issues in the services we provide to our clients.

FastKlean’s products and services for both the public sector and commercial clients comply with all relevant legislation.

All our staff and associates have received a copy of this policy and it is also made available to our customers and user via our Company’s Notice Board.

In all our operations we are committed to reducing our environmental impacts and maximising our positive actions to increase the economic and social sustainability of our work.

Liam Conway is responsible for ensuring the policy is carried out in practice. We will review the policy annually and set ourselves new targets and actions each year.

The next review date for this policy is September 2018.
